Re: Customer Service Representative Job Posting

I am writing to formally apply for the CSR position for which you are recruiting at USA Finance.

My past successes demonstrate strengths in working in a call center environment, being focused on the task at hand/expediency, solving customer problems, and assuming team leadership roles within the center.

I attended the following classes in the effort to hone my coaching and interpersonal management skills:

- Managing Conflict - AT&T School of Business, Course MS6431, completed July 2004.
- Managing People and performance- AT&T School of Business, Course MD7601, completed October 1993.
- Certifications: Numerous technical and managerial courses: Managing Conflict, Managing People and Performance, Communications Workshop, Leadership for the Future, Achieving Communication Effectiveness, and Labor Relations (AT&T School of Business & Technology).

I have never been a maintainer, but rather I enjoy taking on a challenge, resolving problems, and being a part of the growth of a business. If you are seeking someone with a track record of putting out fires and improving service levels, I’d like to explore the possibility of joining your company. Thank you.

Sincerely,

Sandy Smith

Dear Personnel Manager:

I am very interested in joining your team. I have worked for Preston Homes for the past four years and am now returning to Houston for personal reasons. My work ethic, reputation, and quality of work have been at the very top within the industry in Dallas, and I would be happy to provide references to support this.

I was the lead Technician for the Frisco Trail Development, a development of 2,000 homes that range from 2,500 to 4,500 square feet.

Please consider my qualifications and feel free to follow up with Mr. Johnson at Preston Homes. I will call you Monday to discuss the opportunity in more detail, and perhaps we can set up a meeting soon. I will be available anytime after may 30th. I am looking forward to speaking with you soon.

Sincerely,

Jamie Chen

RE: Dermatology – Front Desk

Dear Hiring Manager,

This is in response to your ad for a medical front office assistant. A quick glance at my resume and you may be thinking ‘this is not a good candidate’. But please do not be discouraged yet.

I have been interested in dermatology for quite some time. It stemmed from my own struggle with skincare and skin health. As a student at this point in my life, I am at a crossroads between pursuing a Bachelor’s of Science to move towards Med School or pursuing an RN degree. This front desk position would be a great start to gain insight and learn.

Currently one of five in a customer service team with a call volume up to 300 a day, there is constant juggling between phones, orders, emails, and other tasks. Aside from weekly goals and monthly quotas, serving customers is most important. I’ve learned to better understand, serve, listen and improve in people relations.

I hope for the chance to learn more about the science of dermatology while continuing to grow in my relationships with other people.

Thank you for your time.

Sincerely,

Amanda Sullivan
